Russ Mallard and Bruce Andrews have been busy sharing the good news and great progress that Atlantic Beef has been making with partners and stake-holders all over Atlantic Canada. They have recently presented to the Maritime Beef Council and the PEI Cattlemen’s Association.
On April 18 Atlantic Beef held their annual Producers’ Appreciation Day, to honour our partners and thank them for their huge role in the building success of the beef plant.
Russ provided an update on the last year, and what a year it was! Here’s a quick summary of sales and production accomplishments.
We are pleased to say that a number of records were set.
There were a lot of ‘news items’ to cover and new market opportunities were of particular interest. Russ was part of the PEI delegation visiting China recently.
And we know that all of this great progress has been as a result of the great collaboration and partnerships that we have with local beef producers.
