ABPI Supports Atlantic Canada Premier Chefs as they compete at the Grand Finale of Canada’s Great Kitchen Party – February 1-2, 2019

Canada’s top chefs love the distinct taste of Atlantic Beef Products brands, Certified Island Beef, Blue Dot Reserve and True Beef. We are pleased to support Chef Irwin MacKinnon of Papa Joe’s Restaurant in Charlottetown, PEI and Chef Thomas Carey of Fresh Twenty One in Halifax, NS as they vie to be Canada’s Top Chef 2019 at Canada’s Great Kitchen Party in Kelowna this year. All the best chefs!

The Canadian Culinary Championships is the grand finale of Canada’s Great Kitchen Party events across Canada. The project provides young Canadians the opportunity to be extraordinary through sport, music and food.

Eleven of Canada’s Great Kitchen Party champions from across the country compete in three thrilling and gruelling challenges to crown Canada’s best chef for 2019!

Prepared by Chef Irwin MacKinnon of Papa Joe’s Restaurant in Charlottetown, PEI. Braised Certified Island Beef Short Rib Parcel, Black Garlic Salt Seared Atlantic Sea Scallop, Sesame Ginger Slaw and Toasted Miso Butternut Squash Purée. Paired with Go Devil American IPA from Upstreet Craft Brewery.
